President
At the helm of the Seat Pleasant Bobcats is Bonita "Coach Cookie" Porter, our President and the dedicated Coach of our 14U football team. With an incredible 38 years of coaching experience, Coach Cookie has been a pillar in the community, inspiring countless young athletes to achieve greatness. Her passion for youth development, combined with her extensive knowledge and leadership, is shaping the Bobcats into a powerhouse of opportunity and growth for all involved.
Coach Cookie’s vision for the Seat Pleasant Bobcats extends beyond the field. She believes in the power of sports to transform lives, teaching discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Under her guidance, the Bobcats are a family—a place where young people feel valued, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Vice President
LaToya Burnett is a passionate advocate for youth and community development. LaToya’s journey with the Bobcats began when her son played football under Coach Cookie’s leadership, and she served as the team mom. Her firsthand experience with the positive impact of the organization inspired her to take on a leadership role. LaToya brings dedication, compassion, and a strong connection to the community, ensuring every child and family feels welcomed and supported. Her commitment to making a difference fuels the Bobcats’ mission of creating a safe and nurturing environment for all.

Treasurer
Our Treasurer, Angie Colter, brings decades of experience and a deep-rooted passion for supporting youth sports. After a 40-year career with the federal government and three years of retirement, Angie has embraced her role with the Bobcats. Having been involved in sports with her children since they were four years old, Angie understands the transformative power of athletics. Her children participated in a variety of sports including football, basketball, and flag football, which kept them active, disciplined, and off the streets. Angie is committed to paying it forward by helping other kids stay on a positive path. Her dedication and enthusiasm make her an invaluable member of the Bobcats family.

Our Secretary, Sade Washington, has been involved in sports her entire life, assisting her mother, Coach Cookie, with team activities from a young age. Sade’s dedication for guiding and mentoring children stems from her lifelong passion for youth development. Her commitment to helping young athletes grow, both on and off the field, makes her an integral part of the Bobcats family.

Athletic Director
DaVaughn has been coaching football for 12 years and was himself coached under Coach Cookie. His experience as both a player and a coach fuels his passion for the game and his commitment to youth development. DaVaughn is honored to serve as a youth advocate and voice for the young men and women in his community. His leadership and dedication ensure that every athlete in the Bobcats family feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their potential both on and off the field.
